Summary (via Goodreads):

Volunteering to duel alongside Liam Kolane against the ruthless Creek Alpha could get Ness killed, but the alternative, leaving her hot-headed Alpha to die alone in the dueling ring isn’t an option. Not even when he places ridiculous conditions on her, like not spending time alone with August, her intended mate.

Ness didn’t want a mate, but that was before August stepped back into her life, before he picked up the scattered pieces of her heart. Between their shared history and the magical tether that binds them, Ness finds herself falling dangerously hard for the sexy shifter.

But Liam’s heart is on the line. A heart that still beats for Ness.

Only one man can win her love, the same way only one Alpha can rise from the duel.

Let the fight begin…

My Review:
A bittersweet and wholly satisfying end to an amazing series. A Pack of Love and Hate was everything, feels and all.

I couldn’t put this book down. I don’t know what got into me. But it took me less than a day and half to devour this one-of-a-kind novel. I was enchanted beyond reason. In love without a doubt.

There’s so many things that happen all out once it’s dizzying.

There’s the threat of Cassandra Morgan, the female Alpha of the infamous Creek pack. I liked Morgan’s character for all her major and heinous faults. She gives off that wicked evil queen vibe but wears it like a pro. Her intentions are unknown and Ness is determined to find out the why and how of it all before her pack becomes the next victim of the Creek pack’s mighty Alpha wolf.

I wasn’t sure who Ness would end up with – tensions were that high and the future so uncertain. I adore August and preferred him with Ness than Liam. He balances Ness better. Liam…Liam has issues he needs to deal with before getting into a serious relationship (in my opinion). I believe Liam is noble at heart and not like his father in all but temper. August is just so kind and wonderful. So I was rooting for him to be the one.

The bear scene made me sad even though it’s the circle of life. Jeb made me sad and I was so worried for him throughout most of the novel. The lack of trust made me sad. The betrayals made me sad. Did I mention I was sad? I got teary-eyed at times.

I worried a lot too because I too couldn’t wrap my head around how Morgan got to where she is today. That and so many other questions boggled my mind. I didn’t think I could be stunned anymore than I’d already had after reading book 2. But the revelations in book 3 had me floored. Wow!

The suspense. The action. The drama. The love. The pain. The sorrow. The fear. The laughter. Wildenstein takes the reader on an emotional rollarcoaster and epic adventure. She is a wonderful, magical storyteller.

I highly recommend reading this series. It’s so different from your typical YA PNR. I can’t quite put my finger on it. But this series is drenched in a unique flavor to delight many readers and PNR fans.
