Happy Wednesday, Bookworms!
The first month of 2020 is almost over, so I thought it’d be fun to do this meme. I’ve added several books to my tbr so cleaning up my tbr shelf is a must!
Down The TBR Hole is hosted by Lia @Lost in a Story. The goal is to clean your TBR of books you’re never going to read.
Here’s how it works:
⦁ Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
⦁ Order on ascending date added.
⦁ Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
⦁ Read the synopses of the books
⦁ Decide: keep it or should it go?

For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund
For Darkness Shows the Stars #1
KEEP
I’ve had this book on my TBR for years and it still sounds like a good read. I just don’t know when I’ll get to reading it. I’m not interested enough to read it like yesterday but still interested enough to not want to remove it.

Prophecy Accepted by Tamar Sloan
Prime Prophecy #2
REMOVE
I don’t see myself finishing this series, which is sad because I did really enjoy book 1. I guess I’ve just lost interest. But I’d recommend book 1 to anyone who likes YA Paranormal Romance and wolf shifters.

A Possibility of Whales by Karen Rivers
KEEP
I still want to read this book. It’s a quick read and sounds like a really good MG LGBTQ+ novel.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Six of Crows #1
KEEP
I will still give this one a try. She’s a big one so that’s a little intimidating. Also there are several POVs which shouldn’t be a problem but…eh I don’t know. Excuses, excuses. I probably will just read book 1 unless I absolutely fall in love and need to know more.

Wishtree by Katherine Applegate
REMOVE
Sounds interesting and sad; like The Giving Tree sad. I’m not interested in reading it anymore though.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer
KEEP
I originally put this book on my TBR because I wanted to read a retelling at the time. I just never got around to reading it. I definitely want to make time to read it this year.
