ABOUT: Adopted by the Alpha of a werewolf pack after a rogue wolf brutally killed her parents right before her eyes, fifteen-year-old Bryn knows only pack life, and the rigid social hierarchy that controls it.  That doesn’t mean that she’s averse to breaking a rule or two.

But when her curiosity gets the better of her and she discovers Chase, a new teen locked in a cage in her guardian’s basement, and witnesses him turn into a wolf before her eyes, the horrific memories of her parents’ murders return. Bryn becomes obsessed with getting her questions answered, and Chase is the only one who can provide the information she needs.

But in her drive to find the truth, will Bryn push too far beyond the constraints of the pack, forcing her to leave behind her friends, her family, and the identity that she’s shaped?

My Review: I absolutely loved Raised By Wolves! This had everything I could ever ask for in a shifter/paranormal/fantasy book. I couldn’t stop reading and felt so many feels!

Bryn is such a feisty human among wolves and very independent. She has a cool best friend (Devon) and loving father and mother figures (Callum, the Alpha who adopted her and Ali, a human mated to a wolf, respectively) in her life, so it doesn’t hurt much that she doesn’t belong to the pack. Not after the trauma she went through at a very young age.

That is, until she suspects everyone is keeping a secret from her – things just go downhill from there (in a good way). I was totally absorbed in the story as Bryn tried to uncover more of her past and figure out why her connection to Chase is so strong. The tension was palpable and I loved it!

This story is one of the more interesting takes on shifter inner workings where females are rare and highly prized. I like how it paralleled in a way with Bryn who’s already a rare entity as being a human adopted into a wolf pack and made pack. I think this sets Bryn up to be something more distinct than anyone could have ever imagined.

I just adored Raised By Wolves. There were so many surprises that I didn’t see coming and the ending was amazing! So I will for sure be reading the rest of this trilogy. I want to learn more about Bryn and see what else she’s capable of.
