My Review: Merry Christmas Little Hoo! is a simple story with simple rhymes. It’s very visually pleasing. I enjoyed the illustrations a lot more than the story itself. Every sound Little Hoo hears – strings of onomatopoeia – get him excited and in the Christmas spirit. Readers will connect this to their own anticipation for the most wonderful time of the year. This book would be a pleasant read aloud the night before Christmas.
