My Review: “In my family, when the sun goes down, our hair goes up!”
Bedtime Bonnet is a great story that I 100% connected to! I loved the details and how the book shows the reader different ways Black hair is not only styled but maintained at night. It’s an integral part of the nighttime routine. I loved the style of the illustration that swept across the pages in various pleasing colors. I also liked how close the family is and how much the main character loves doing this routine with her family.I wish I had this delightful book when I was little. Bedtime Bonnet is a captivating must-have-must-read!
