Off for the Holidays!

Hello, friends!

I decided to take a blogging break for the holidays, so there’ll be no new posts. I plan to read, relax, write, maybe play a video game, and enjoy my birthday and time off work.

New posts will return the last day of November. Can you believe the month is nearly over!?! Then after that I start the 25 Days of Book Reviews.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving if you’re celebrating and great weekend!

Happy reading! I’ll see you on the 30th.

Block Editor First Impressions

On Thursday, adding new posts switched over to the Block Editor. I know this has been a thing for months now and I don’t know why mine is just now converting.

The Block Editor is as hard to navigate as other bloggers have mentioned. Writing is the easy part. Formatting is much harder to do.

To be fair, this was my first time using the new editor so of course it would be challenging in the beginning. BUT I would much rather use the classic editor, which is while limited in options is more user friendly (at least for me) than the Block Editor.

It looks like you can still use the Classic Editor for creating new posts, but the Block Editor is now the default.

I may go back at another time to test out all there is to know and what you can now do with the Block Editor. But until then, I am sticking to what I know for efficiency and continuity’s sake.

Have a great weekend, Bookworms!

And, As Always, Happy Reading!

New Blog Theme! – Fall 2020

Happy Wednesday, Bookworms!

TA-DA!!!! I’ve changed the appearance of my blog for the fall season.

I wanted the look to have rustic autumn vibes. It didn’t turn out how I originally envisioned it but I like it and I hope you do too!

I’ve also changed some of the header images I use for certain recurring posts and tried to make those more of a cohesive theme.

Official Fall TBR to be posted Friday!

Thanks for stopping by and reading my post. Much appreciated.

Smile, It’s Almost Friday!

Happy Wednesday, Bookworms!

No new blog post today unfortunately. I have been busy with work that’s been taking up much of my time. I hope to be able to post my review of Legendborn by Tracy Deonn tomorrow or Friday.

Stay safe. Wear a mask. Social Distance. Wash your hands.

Have a great day and, as always, happy reading!!!

[Blog Update] Where I’ve Been & Dealing with Trauma

blog fall 2019 header

Hello bookworms,

You may have been seeing scheduled posts from me this week but I’ve been away from the book blog and bookstagram community since last Saturday with no internet and a series of terribly unfortunate events.

Over the weekend I witnessed a car accident that could have taken the lives of two individuals who mean most to me.

Without going into details, this week has been incredibly stressful and exhausting and busy. I had December blog posts planned but have decided to push everything off for at least another week. There’s just too much going on right now.

I hope to be back blogging as soon as possible. Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Christina
