I’m Thankful For Fridays

Happy Friday! How was your week?

I’m very happy and thankful it’s finally Friday. It felt like the week dragged some and the weather couldn’t decide whether to be nice with a cool autumn breeze or cold and rainy. The weekend looks like decent weather though I’ll be inside working on a project for most of it and, as always, reading.

Right now, I’m reading Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzales (finally!) and Wife by Wednesday by Catherine Bybee. I’m only a couple chapters in the former and haven’t started the latter because I got distracted by kindle unlimited books. Those two books will probably be my last reads of November.

Good Morning & Happy Friday

Hey there, fellow book lovers! It’s Friady (woo-hoo!!!!)! All I want to do is just nothing and read. Thank goodness it’s also a three day weekend, so I should be able to finish my current read, You Can Go Your Own Way by Eric Smith. I’m about 36% through as I type this and like it so far, despite a few angst-y teenage moments.

Before I wasn’t sure if I was going to decor for fall, but I recently got into my head of decorating my door with fall leaves. Then I saw some really cool and easy fall crafts online. Now I’m in a crafty mood!

Happy First Friday of Fall!

Happy Friday! While it doesn’t look like Fall yet there is no escaping the fall vibes. It’s time for comfy clothes and bask in the cooling weather. I don’t think I’ll decorate this year but I would like to go apple and/or pumpkin picking.

My first reads of the new season are The Royal Tutor (vol. 15) and Home for a Cowboy Christmas by Donna Grant. The former I haven’t started because I’ve been absorbed with the latter, which I’m nearly halfway through. I can’t wait to spend the next two days reading. My weekend is wonderfully booked! 😊📚🧡

New Blog Theme! – Fall 2020

Happy Wednesday, Bookworms!

TA-DA!!!! I’ve changed the appearance of my blog for the fall season.

I wanted the look to have rustic autumn vibes. It didn’t turn out how I originally envisioned it but I like it and I hope you do too!

I’ve also changed some of the header images I use for certain recurring posts and tried to make those more of a cohesive theme.

My Review:
I liked Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn. It’s quaint story and beautiful art sweeps across the pages like an autumn breeze. There is so much to marvel on every page. The reader goes on a gentle, quiet walk as the world transitions from summer to autumn. I like how this teaches kids the signs of a season and what it means when seasons change.
