Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme originally created by The Broke and the Bookish, but is now run by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is: Books with Character Names In the Title. An easy and fun prompt this week.
I chose ten of my favorite books with a character’s name in the title. I tried to include characters and books I love but don’t talk about as much. All of the books mentioned below are 5 start reads of mine that I recommend if you’re looking for a new middle grade, young adult fantasy, lgbtqiap+, graphic novel, or contemporary romance to read.
Books on my Top Ten Tuesday list are:
1. Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce
2. Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston
3. Ana on the Edge by A.J. Sass
4. Daja’s Book by Tamora Pierce
5. Erak’s Ransom by John Flanagan
6. George by Alex Gino
7. Maya and the Rising Dark by Rena Barron
8. Radha & Jai’s Recipe for Romance by Nisha Sharma
9. Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert
10. Yona of the Dawn by Mizuho Kusanagi
I like when the character’s name is in the title because it gets you excited for what’s to come. That something epic is about to happen so you better be ready. It also makes the story seem more personal. These kinds of titles roll off the tongue so nicely.
AS ALWAYS, HAPPY READING!!!
