Happy Friday!

I have a four-day weekend ahead of me and I plan to use it to the fullest. Feels good to have a little time off work to read, relax, and do something fun.

First order of business is finishing my current read today or tomorrow. I’m halfway through Bet on It by Jodie Slaughter and absolutely loving it! The main characters just took a major step in their relationship, so things are getting more serious.

Then the rest of the weekend is taking care of some business, writing a review, and starting a new book.

I previously had an idea of what I wanted to read next, but I’m kind of in the mood for something light and fluffy. Thinking about maybe taking a break from my winter tbr to read a few manga volumes. But I do have one more arc I need to finish this month. So maybe yes, maybe no, who knows. I’ll be starting a new book regardless and (hopefully) make decent headway before going back to work.

Happy Friday! How was your week?

I’m very happy and thankful it’s finally Friday. It felt like the week dragged some and the weather couldn’t decide whether to be nice with a cool autumn breeze or cold and rainy. The weekend looks like decent weather though I’ll be inside working on a project for most of it and, as always, reading.

Right now, I’m reading Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzales (finally!) and Wife by Wednesday by Catherine Bybee. I’m only a couple chapters in the former and haven’t started the latter because I got distracted by kindle unlimited books. Those two books will probably be my last reads of November.

Happy Friday, everyone! It’s Halloween weekend but I won’t be dressing up. I just want to have a quiet weekend home. But if you are celebrating the spookiest time of the year on Sunday, I hope you have a great and safe time and get lots of candy!

I managed to finish two books this week as well as my Goodreads reading challenge of 100 books for 2021, which were the highlights of my week. Currently, I’m reading You’ve Reached Sam by Dustin Thao (arc) and Dragon Released by Terry Bolryder.

Happy Friday, friends! I finally got some news about work and the upcoming school year. I have to go into work one day next week, but there remains plenty of summer days to enjoy before we welcome back students. Enough time to get as much reading done as possible.

This weekend I’m continuing to read Carefree Black Girls and Blade of Secrets. I made good progress this week and hope that continues throughout the weekend.
